Bert Jacobs creëert een nieuw kunstwerk Klimmers en Slingers, voor de binnenkoer van het Lokaal Dienstencentrum De Schijf. De pergola komt tot leven als een ontmoetingsplek voor de buurtbewoners, waarbij klim- en slingerplanten schaduw bieden op een warme zomerdag.
Bert Jacobs maakt sculpturen en installatiekunst. Hierbij gebruikt hij uiteenlopende materialen zoals hout, steen, bijenwas. Op een speelse wijze verweeft hij verbeelding, natuur en omgeving tot een geheel. Bert Jacobs heeft werk getoond in binnen- en buitenland, Brussels Gallery Weekend, Kunstwerke Berlijn, Fabijonis Site Vilnius, basis e.v Frankfurt, Beursschouwburg, Noplace Oslo, e.a.

Bert Jacobs creates a new artwork for the courtyard of the Local Service center De Schijf. The pergola comes to life as a meeting spot for the local community, in which hanging plants invite you to sit in its shadows on a hot summer’s day.
Bert Jacobs creates sculptures and installation art, with a variety of materials such as wood, stone, and beeswax. In a playful manner, he connects imagination, nature, and environment into a cohesive whole. Jacobs has showcased his work both domestically and internationally, including exhibitions at Brussels Gallery Weekend, Kunstwerke Berlin, Fabijonis Site Vilnius, basis e.v Frankfurt, Beursschouwburg, Noplace Oslo, among others.
