The VRAC-project aims to reduce the risk of school delay and early school leaving for children and young people by positively influencing their learning process in school, neighbourhood, and home.

Eight organisations and local governments from Belgium, the UK, France and the Netherlands, collaborate to co-construct integrated community-based education. We do this with a network of new and existing partners, including children and parents. We increase family involvement in children’s education. We strengthen the sense of belonging and wellbeing of children and families.

Come and discover how we have an impact in schools, neighbourhoods and homes.

  • focusing on local intersectoral cooperation,
  • connecting learning and development opportunities and support,
  • putting the participation of children, young people and parents at the centre,
  • connecting school, neighbourhood and home context on the basis of talent, resilience and thus creating positive dynamics.
